Final course Exam
Once pre-licensing course work has been completed and the minimum time requirement has been met, a closed-book exam is required for course completion. This exam should NOT be confused with the Virginia Real Estate Salesperson Licensing Exam, which is taken with the testing vendor for the State of Virginia, PSI upon successful completion of final course exam.

The Virginia Real Estate Board regulation mandates that our final course exam is proctored by a credible third party to ensure the integrity of our students and our exams. For convenience, Advanced School of Real Estate offers a proctored online course exam.
The exam consists of 100 questions: 70 National and 30 Virginia-specific.
The allotted time for the final course exam is 125 minutes.
The passing grade for the final course exam is 70%.
Two proctored exam sessions are held weekly at no cost to students. For students who would prefer to test at another time, a ‘choose your own date and time’ option is available for $24.99.
The proctored exam involves a live, video-monitored session. Students join a Zoom meeting and remain visible while completing the exam.

The final course exam is required to be completed within six-month course enrollment period. If outside of enrollment period, please see Course Extension/Retake Information.
