Online Course FAQ

With our online course, you have the option of sitting in and monitoring our classroom sessions for extra reinforcement of the material.

Yes.  It is fully approved by the Virginia Real Estate Board.  This course qualifies you to sit for your state licensing exam.

You log in and out as desired from home, work or anywhere with internet access.  The course is divided into short pages that you click through.  There are periodic quizzes to help you remember what you read.

It depends on how long you spend on each chapter.  Many people complete a few hours a day and can finish within a couple of weeks or a couple of months, depending on your time spent.   By Virginia Real Estate Board rules, you must be online for 50 hours (in the reading section, interactive exercises or quiz questions).  This equates to the 60 hours of classroom time allowing for 10 minute breaks.  So, if you finish early, you can simply open the reading pages, interactive exercises or quiz questions and review.

For those seeking real estate licensure, a final exam similar to the VA licensing exam will conclude the course.   When you are ready, simply let us know.  We will help you make arrangements to take the exam.

Please note, the Virginia DPOR requires that you successfully complete a live, proctored final course examination.  You may sit for your exam at our Virginia Beach location.  If that is not convenient, the exam can be administered by proctor anywhere and by many different sources, as long as the proctor serves the public’s interest and does not pose a conflict of interest.

Yes.  If a student does not wish to continue with online course and would like to transfer to a classroom session during their enrollment period, a $125.00 transfer fee will apply (includes textbooks).  Student will still have access to online course for exam prep purposes. Completed online hours will not transfer.

Our online course is self contained, and no textbooks are required.

The course is only designed to be used on a normal desktop or laptop computer (Mac or Windows).  Unsupported mobile devices such as the iPad, tablets, smart phones, cell phones, iPhone, or e-readers (Kindle, Nook) do not have full-featured web browsers and instead have very “basic” browsers.  Unfortunately, this means that a lot of the rules that states have for online courses require advanced functions which mobile devices simply cannot do.  Macintosh mobile devices (iPad, iPhone) also specifically do not support Adobe Flash, which is a required plugin for both Interactive exercises as well as videos.
